Chris Thornley is an illustrator and designer, and also goes by the name Raid71 (which was his secret identity until now). He spent many of my younger days in the local woods building camps, and dams in streams, always arriving home covered head to toe in mud, so the moors and woodlands of where he grew up heavily inspires his work.

Studying at Blackburn Art College and then Gwent University; he won the Adobe Creativity Award for character design in 2007 and clients include Lego, Gola, Levis, Threadless and NME.
