What kind of prints do you sell?
Firstly there is the Giclée print, which is an archival pigment print produced from large machines, similar to an inkjet printer. Unlike your normal printer at home, ours uses an 8 ink process, with each ink being archival (which basically means it lasts a long, long time, and won’t discolour with age). We use 2 different surfaces for these: Next we have woodcut prints like the Kreepy Kat Logo print. Carved out of a single piece of wood with the image in reverse, the block is then inked with an archival black ink, and using a special press, the image is transferred onto an acid-free watercolour paper. Screen prints are another kind that we’ll have soon from various UK artists. Can’t put your finger on what a screen print is? Think of the soup cans and Marilyn images that Andy Warhol created.
